If you are a learner driver don’t drive alone it’s seriously not worth the risk. The Highway Patrol just shared this precautionary tale.

About 12:39am on Monday the 6th November 2017 police from Blue Mountains Highway Patrol stopped a 18 year old male after he was detected driving a Black Nissan Pulsar on the Great Western Highway, Springwood at 115km/h in the 80km/h zone. The male from Westleigh was the holder of a learner licence, however no other person was present in the vehicle to supervise his driving. He was issued an over 30km/h infringement ($884 and 5 demerit points) and his licence suspended for a period of 3 months. He was also issued infringements for Unaccompanied Learner ($842), Fail to Display L Plates ($257 and 2 points) and Not Carry Drivers Licence ($110).
